Privacy policy
This policy explains how SRS Makeup & Beauty Accessories uses information submitted through this website. It is written for the enquiry-first launch and will be reviewed when the domain, hosting and external services are finalised.

What the website collects
- Appointment or bridal enquiry details: name, phone, optional email, preferred service/timing, age band, operational notes and guardian details when required.
- For bridal enquiries, optional event venue details and up to three inspiration images.
- Security information such as a privacy-preserving connection hash, request time and consent version.
- Optional analytics preference. Analytics is disabled unless configured by SRS and allowed by the visitor.
Do not submit date of birth, detailed medical history, medicines, pregnancy information, payment credentials or government identity documents through the website.
Why it is used
SRS uses request data only to review availability, discuss suitability, prepare a quote, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, confirm an appointment and operate the resulting service. Marketing permission is separate, optional and unticked by default. Service consent never grants permission to publish photographs, reviews or messages.
Storage and access
Booking details are stored as private WordPress records with sensitive fields encrypted. Reference images are stored outside the public web root, are not placed in the Media Library, and are available only to authorised booking managers through short-lived links. Operational access is limited to Jaya Srivastava, Ankita Srivastav and a necessary restricted technology or professional provider.
Retention
- Enquiries that do not become appointments, including their uploads, are erased after 90 days unless a legal hold is recorded.
- Reference images for confirmed appointments are erased 30 days after the appointment.
- Confirmed service and payment records are kept only for operational, accounting, dispute and applicable legal needs; the period will be finalised with professional advice.
- Consent preferences in this browser last up to one year or until changed.
Email, WhatsApp and analytics
Owner notification emails contain only the reference, request type and a secure admin link. WhatsApp opens only when you choose a WhatsApp link; the website does not send consumer WhatsApp messages automatically. Optional analytics does not receive form fields, names, phone numbers, email addresses, notes or uploads.
Your choices and requests
You may ask SRS to provide, correct or erase your website enquiry data, or withdraw optional marketing permission, using the email or phone above. SRS may retain a minimal record where needed for a confirmed transaction, dispute or legal obligation. Use “Privacy request” and your SRS reference where available; do not send identity documents unless SRS explains why they are necessary.
Children and guardian information
Customers under 18 require guardian consent for service requests. The website asks only for an age band and the operational guardian details needed to answer the request. Service-specific minimum ages and guardian-presence rules still apply.
Security and changes
No website can promise absolute security. SRS uses restricted access, encryption, private file storage, rate limits and retention jobs to reduce risk. Material policy changes will receive a new effective date. This working policy does not remove any rights provided by applicable law.
